I attended last year's Cab Franc Forward tasting in NYC but wasn't able to get up there for this year's. I'm glad it's continuing, because NY is doing great things with this grape. As are Virginia, Livermore Valley, Chile ... the boomlet is not limited to New York.
I didn’t get to the event last year, but I’m thrilled to have been there this year. The enthusiasm and momentum behind NY Cabernet Franc is undeniable. And from what I can see, they are definitely a front runner in regions to watch going forward with the grape. It’s really exciting to see.
If you love Cabernet Franc (or NY, or are curious about both) it is absolutely worth it. Very well organized, fab location, a myriad of Cab Francs on offer. Top notch!

This Grand tasting event looks awesome. Would love to go sometime. I just joined their email list (Cab Franc Forward NY). Maybe 2027!
