Indeed, Bordeaux is dominated by Merlot on the right bank and Cab Sauv on the left, but there are some Cabernet Franc “specialists” here and there, and more and more single varietal examples being made across the region. Going to Bordeaux and St. Emilion next month. Don’t often think of Cab franc there but it is there. Seem to be more cab Sauv and Merlot focused.
