Happy Anniversary! Following your videos and essays has greatly improved my knowledge (limited) of Cab Franc, particularly the Val du Loire variety. I recently read that Olga Raffault introduced an early drinking Chinon called "La Fraich". I look forward to trying that. Also, I recently opened a bottle of Saumur Puy Notre-Dame (based on one of your articles). I tried the 2018 Domaine Regnier-David Magniacus. What a beautiful example of Cab Franc! To my taste, it was exceptional. Stay well and keep the dispatches coming. Cheers!
Hi Michael ! Thank you so much for the kind words! It has been wonderful to have you on this journey, and I love our exchanges about wines you’ve enjoyed or have tucked away in your cellar. Hope we’ll have a chance to share a glass together one day! Olga Raffault’s La Fraiche is a delight - juicy and joyous! And Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame is an underrated appellation I think. Lots of incredible vignerons doing great things there. Happy sipping, and thank you for all of your continued enthusiasm and support!! ❤️🙏
Congratulations on this beautiful anniversary, Allison! You have so much to be proud of and we have so much to be thankful for in your work. Your notes always walk me straight to the essence of a wine, like meeting a person you have only ever heard described then clearly recognizing them out on the street. ❤️
Thank you, Valerie, for the kind words! ❤️ You’ve always been so generous and encouraging since the very beginning of this journey, and your compliment about my notes means more than you know! Your work is an inspiration to me and so many others in the wine community. Thank you for all you do!
Most definitely, Lauren! Little comforts like a great bottle of wine and a delicious meal make the transition to winter much more enjoyable! Believe me, even after five years back in Ontario from Miami, I’m still adjusting! Happy sipping, and thank you for all of your continued support!

Please keep up the superb work - and thank you!
Yes, perfect for fall! These wines make me feel better about the looming winter. My Florida bones are still adapting . . . 😊🍷
